This golf-cart town boasts three golf cart rental locations, charming inns and hotels, and nationally important historic sites within a short drive of the center of town. There are two local breweries and live music in many locations every weekend. The downtown social district features several Sip N’ Stroll events. Each Sip N’ Stroll allows people to carry their beer, wine or cocktail as they window shop in the downtown area or watch boats and ospreys from the beach. If not for the tourism industry, Colonial Beach would experience economic decline. But with such glorious sunrises and sunsets, historic attractions, lovely locals, and so many other benefits, the secret is out making Colonial Beach one of the most enticing places to travel in the Commonwealth.
