A popular fundraiser for Colonial Beach Community Foundation that brings the community together over two of nature’s gifts: grapes and cocoa beans.

The event is conducted by Eric Nelson, chocolatier and former owner of Artfully Chocolate salons in D.C., MD and VA. Nelson, who was recently named President of the Foundation, has taught classes in pairing chocolate and wine for over 15 years, underscoring various aspects including the health benefits.

“Chocolate and wine should be considered dietary supplements rather than guilty pleasures,” says Nelson. “Although I don’t deny that the pairings are very pleasurable, too.”

Tickets available through Facebook (Eventbrite) or at Coldwell Banker Elite, Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.
