Horses and their riders traverse six miles through the quaint streets of Colonial Beach, down the boardwalk, and alongside the beautiful Potomac River and Monroe Bay.

The Urban Trail Ride is a fundraiser for the Colonial Beach Volunteer Fire Department.  It is co-sponsored by The Still Hot to Trot Chapter of The Old People’s Riding Club and the Colonial Beach Chamber of Commerce.  Riders travel past town treasures including  the Riverboat, the Colonial Beach Town Pier, the Alexander Graham Bell House, and around “The Point” to view the picturesque marinas of Monroe Bay.
