Megan Wilson planned to stay in Colonial Beach, Virginia, for only one night. But, like so many visitors to CBVA, the writer for Richmond Magazine fell in love with our little town, extending her stay through the weekend.
Megan’s article for Richmond Magazine’s RVA Traveler Fall 2018 edition has just hit newsstands. In the article, Wilson talks about dining at High Tides on the Potomac and The Black Pearl Tiki Bar and brunching at Dockside Inn and Tiki Bar.
Wilson spent an afternoon at nearby Ingleside Vineyards and gives nods to Denson’s Grocery and R&B Oyster Bar and The Tides Inn Market, whose owner, Caitlin Townsend, hosted Megan at Winterberry Farm, a rustic retreat where Townsend holds seasonal cooking classes.
