One of the best things about Christmas are the decorations! Drive or walk (safely!) around the town to see Holiday at the Beach-themed decorations on residents’, businesses’ and nonprofits’ houses, yards, porches, doors, windows, garages and storefronts. Also visit Town Hill to see Town of Colonial Beach’s annual holiday display.

Register for the decorating contest at Coldwell Banker Elite, Colonial Beach Elite, or Town Hall by Friday, December 11 at noon. There is no fee to apply, but donations will be accepted.

Light Up Town of Colonial Beach is a fundraiser (click to donate) in which 100% of donations from the decorating contest will go directly to Town of Colonial Beach non-profits. The Town of Colonial Beach Christmas Facebook group will also be selling birds-eye view photos taken by drone for $10. The drone flyover will take place on Saturday, December 12, 5-8 pm.

Judging will be Dec. 14 to Dec. 16, with first and second prizes awarded. Winners will be announced at a ceremony on Town Hill on Dec. 19.
