Harvest Farm to Table Dinner

The Fall Harvest Farm to Table Dinner will be prepared by Chef Caitlin Davis of the Tides Inn Market from Colonial Beach, VA. This event will feature delicious in-season and local foods from our local farms and waterways, paired with some of our finest Ingleside wines.

The The Tides Inn Market is run by a mother and daughter team in the quaint town of Colonial Beach, VA. Focusing on local and seasonal food, the Market provides an ever changing menu and live music on the weekends. Caitlin is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America and loves to source from all of the local farms. She also teaches cooking classes at Winterberry Farmhouse, just outside of the town.

In the spirit of celebrating the harvest, we will start the evening off with an intimate barrel tasting with our winemaker in the wine cellar. Guests will be able to sample several newly fermented white wines and learn more about the 2018 harvest.

Each course will be paired with an Ingleside wine. Each guest will receive a souvenir Riedel wine glass with an Ingleside logo on the base. Here is a look at the menu (menu is subject to minor adjustments based on how the fall weather affects local farmers).

MENU:

Appetizer (in the wine cellar):
Selection of locally-made artisan Cheese & Salami, housemade bread and pickled vegetables with seasonal fruit
Paired with several wines from the barrel

Soup:
Local Rockfish chowder with housemade sourdough and cultured chive butter
Paired with 2017 Reserve Chardonnay

Entrée:
Windy Hill Farm Beef braised in Ingleside wine with roasted Blenheim Farm root vegetables in a Vol au Vent pastry
Paired with 2014 Virginia Gold

Dessert:
Local Apple Cake with a spiced caramel sauce and fresh cream
Paired with Virginia Brut Sparkling N.V.

***Tickets are available for Estate Club members only until Wed. Oct. 3. Tickets will be available to the public beginning on Oct. 3. All reservations will end on Oct. 14.

Estate Club pricing will be $135 per person or 2 for $250. Non-club members: $150 per person or 2 for $270. Seating is limited; reservations will be charged to your card upon booking. To make reservations, please call us during normal business hours at (804) 224-8687.
