From Thursday, October 25 to Halloween night on Wednesday, October 31, Colonial Beach and the surrounding area is buzzing with events and activities for everyone!

Colonial Beach Fall Festival
Costumes are a keystone of Halloween events everywhere, but in Colonial Beach, decorated golf carts get all the attention!
The 5th Annual Fall Festival and Halloween Golf Cart Parade is an all-day event happening on Saturday, October 27. The highlight of the day is the spooktacular Halloween Golf Cart Parade, where residents dress up their rides!
The event features craft and food vendors, pony and hay rides, games, inflatables, a warm, jovial fire pit and much more!
Colonial Beach Urban Trail Ride Along the Waterfront
Enjoy a leisurely Sunday horseback ride through the quaint streets of Colonial Beach during the Colonial Beach Urban Trail Ride Along the Waterfront. The six-mile “urban trail” (asphalt-only), will take riders down the Boardwalk and along the Potomac River and Monroe Bay for breathtaking views of picturesque marinas, docks and fishing piers, stately mansions and lush parks. A fundraiser for the Colonial Beach Volunteer Fire Department.
Harbor View Fall Festival
Held at nearby Stepps Harbor View Marina, Saturday’s Harbor View Fall Festival features fall fun for the whole family. A costume contest, pumpkin painting, games, 50/50 raffle, prizes and chili are on the menu!
New Life’s BarnYard Bash! (Fall Harvest Party)
Celebrate the Kingdom of Light on October 31 with New Life Ministries’ BarnYard Bash! (Fall Harvest Party). God-honoring costumes, games, skits by X-treme and LOTS of candy!!
Caledon Halloween Campfire
Enjoy the crackle of a campfire and s’mores at Caledon State Park’s spooky Halloween Campfire on Friday night. Wear costumes for Trunk-or-Treating then settle in by the fire to hear stories share s’mores.
The GodFather of the Beach
Hear the roar of the engines at Colonial Beach Dragway’s GodFather of the Beach event on Saturday. Candy and a costume contest for the kids.
Middle Potomac River Ducks Unlimited Greenwing Event
Duck and goose calling, dog demonstrations, BB gun range, crafting and coloring, face painting, fire trucks and a light lunch are all part of the Middle River Ducks Unlimited Chapter for Greenwing event on Saturday.
Stratford After Dark
Stratford Hall’s After Dark event on Friday features trick-or-treating, hayrides, a bonfire, seasonal crafts, fortune telling, face painting, and a Ghost Tour of the Great House!
